The development of new manufacturing methods of the latest technically demanding engineering knowledge for customer companies is just one of our services.

Therefore the Fraunhofer-Research Institution for Large Structures in Production Engineering manages the transfer of innovations from the university into the industry. The existing cooperation with the University of Rostock and the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA – Stuttgart), is being used intensively.

Long term oriented and innovative research is also realized within public research programs and industrial Projects.
